We stopped by this adorable little coffee shop ☕️✨ while waiting for the movie theater to open 🎬. The place has such a cozy and charming vibe, perfect for just relaxing and passing the time. I ended up getting there way earlier than necessary-honestly, that’s just how I am 😅 and I’m not even going to pretend to feel bad about it lol. It turned out to be a great decision though, because it gave us a chance to slow down, enjoy the atmosphere, and sip on some good coffee 🫶. The whole experience felt calm and welcoming, like a nice little break before the movie. Definitely a lovely spot to hang out if you find yourself with extra time before a show 🍿💛.

Usually I get the black city iced chai latte and love it with the coffee ice cubes but the recipe has changed a couple times on me. They give me the coffee Ice cubes and sometimes they don’t. I think the recipes should be a bit more consistent given the price point. Also was informed that the iced latte does not come with espresso. It comes with french roast. Usually lattes have espresso but they said you’d have to request it…. Other than that I love this setting.

I passed by this place on my morning walk. I ordered a warm Black Chai and the vegan Coconut Curry Empanada. Both were fantastic… highly recommend. The service was great. The inside could use a little TLC but it’s winter. When the weather is better I can see ppl enjoying themselves outside on the patio near the fire pit.

Black-owned! Nice little coffee shop find in this shopping area close to my hotel. Wish they had higher quality and more expansive menu and location though. They don't have liquid chai concentrate, but they should. I recommend Freehand brand as it's spicier and less sweet and local. Or to make their own similar would be awesome. Also decaf beans would be great for an espresso drink. I ordered a drip decaf as it was the only regular option that I order that they had. It was $3.75 which is a good price though. Not sure the quality of their beans because they don't advertise it well. Staff are super kind and helpful. Recommend if in the area but its not an out of your way coffee shop at the moment. Alsotge place is small so not too good for working as it would get crowded rather fast.
